CASE FORMATS
Understanding Text Case Formats
Uppercase converts letters to capital letters, such as HELLO WORLD.
Lowercase converts letters to lowercase, such as hello world.
Sentence case generally capitalizes the beginning of a sentence while leaving other text in normal lowercase form according to the formatting rules used.
Title Case is commonly used for headings and titles and capitalizes important words according to title capitalization rules. Specific rules can vary.
myExampleText joins words without spaces and capitalizes each word after the first. It is commonly used for variables and functions.
MyExampleText capitalizes the first letter of every word and is commonly used for classes, components, and types.
my_example_text uses underscores to separate lowercase words.
my-example-text uses hyphens between words and is common in URLs, filenames, and web-related naming.
MY_EXAMPLE_TEXT uses uppercase letters separated by underscores and is commonly used for constants.
